The short version

Dirt Bike Explorer has no accounts, no adverts, and no tracking. Your progress is stored on your own device. When you search for a place or ride into new terrain, the app asks public map services for that data and draws it.

What the app never does

• No analytics or telemetry of any kind
• No advertising and no ad networks
• No tracking across apps or websites
• No advertising identifier (IDFA) and no device ID
• No access to your device's location
• No access to camera, microphone or contacts
• No cookies and no accounts
• No data sold or shared with data brokers

The app requests no system permissions at all. Where you ride comes from an address you type, not from your device's position — the app never asks for it.

What the app sends, and to whom

Playing requires map data, so the app makes requests to the services below. Each receives only what's listed, plus your device's IP address, which any internet request necessarily reveals.

• OpenStreetMap (via Overpass) — a box of coordinates around where you're riding, used to build the roads, buildings and water around you.
• LocationIQ — the address or place name you type into the search box, used to turn it into a location on the map.
• komoot (Photon) — the same address, only if LocationIQ is unavailable, so search still works when the first service is down.
• Amazon S3 — map tile coordinates only, used for ground elevation so hills and valleys have the right shape.
